I’ve had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. I’m drawn to beautiful light, unexpected locations, and images that feel natural rather than overly posed. Whether I’m photographing a family, a senior, a property, or a business, my goal is the same: to create images that feel intentional, authentic, and worth remembering.
Born and raised in Fluvanna, Virginia, I’m a golden-hour girl at heart with a love for adventuring to find the perfect light and location. With more than seven years of experience in the corporate marketing world, I bring a unique perspective to photography - combining creativity with an understanding of branding, visual storytelling, and what makes an image connect with its audience.
Today, Emmi Photography has grown to include more than portrait photography. Along with couples, families, seniors, and lifestyle sessions, I offer real estate and commercial photography, aerial drone photography, and drone videography for properties and businesses.
For portraits, I believe the best photographs come from real connection, not manufactured moments. For commercial and real estate work, I bring that same eye for composition, light, and storytelling to create polished imagery that helps a space or brand stand out.
